PROJECT 1 :: House Roof (Started June 2011)
The DU House roof is presently under construction. We are replacing the rubber membrane that covers the roof as well as replacing all shingles. This includes areas over the porches. Construction pictures to be posted soon!

PROJECT 2 :: Boiler Replacement
The boiler has had numerous repairs in the past couple years and has been highly recommended to be replaced. We have had 2 repairs since 2009 totaling $557.33. (Estimated cost for new - between $4,500 and $7,500).
PROJECT 3 :: Plumbing Fix
Presently there are some plumbing issues in the house. Likely due to years of Old Milwaukee and various other random objects being forced down the system.
PROJECT 4 :: Undergraduate Assistance
The Alumni Corporation would like funds to assist the Undergraduates with attending L.I., funding philanthropy projects or assist in other activities of the Undergraduates.
Replacement of Hot Water Heater (2010)
In the Summer of 2010 the Alumni Corporation had to replace the Hot Water Heater as it blew up ($1,400). This caused minor flooding in the basement and cold showers for a few days. Fortunately for our Undergrads this occured during the summer months.
Appliance Replacement (2010-2011) - (Donated by Larry Krause '86)
The DU House in Fall 2010 is in need of a new Washing Machine and Electric Stove due to normal wear and tear within the shared house environment. Each of these items is in somewhat working condition, but not to the standards of an adequate living environment. Each presents a risk of breaking at any moment leaving our Undergrads with no way to cook food or clean clothes.
