The Board of Directors for the Alumni Corporation has established the Michigan Tech DU Alumni Foundation to provide a means for collecting and recognizing donations from our Alumni. The goals of the Foundation are to provide the basis for house improvements and to support the operations of Chapter Property. Additional support may be lent to supporting the Undergraduate's community philanthropy and scholarship.
Since our Chapter's inception we have relied upon generous donations of talent, time and money from our Alumni when called upon in times of need. However, to provide our Corporation the stable resources needed and provide our Undergraduate Brotherhood the support to continue living up to the ideals of our Fraternity, we are undertaking the establishment of this Foundation as our fundraising entity.
To support our Foundation the Alumni Board has authorized the following recognition levels to recognize those individuals that have provided their gifts to the Fraternity on both an annual and lifetime basis. The annual gifts will be established in accordance with our fiscal year of August 1st to July 31st.

| $100 - $249 | Mallard | $5,000 - $9,999 |
| $250 - $499 | Silver Mallard | $10,000 - $24,999 |
| $500 - $999 | Golden Mallard | $25,000 - $99,999 |
| $1,000 + | Diamond Mallard | $100,000 + |
To recognize those who have attained these giving levels, their names will be published in our Spring Alumni Newsletters. This newsletter will provide a summary of the income and expenses that the Foundation has incurred during the fiscal year.
We recognize that the recent economic environment is not conducive to starting this endeavor, but the Foundation feels that we need to start planning now to provide the House and the Chapter the necessary support they require in the future.
